We tracked art, life and a happy life in the vineyard house in Urla with Gören Bulut.

I have known Gören Hoca very well since 2013. Being an artist, teacher, manager, and most importantly, being a “beautiful person” is very valuable to me. We did many projects together when I was both a student and a gallery manager. In another project, we met at the vineyard house in Urla for the shooting, it was a wonderful day.

Since I researched Gören Bulut's art a lot, I know him very well and love him very much. His artistic adventure, which started in the 1960s, came to life with black and white print pictures at that time. Later, when he came to İzmir in the 80s, his palette became colorful and evolved into a completely different fiction. He told me about Gazi Education Institute, his specialization period in London and his life in those years. How precious. It has always impressed me that he tried different forms of artistic expression at every stage of his life, that he was open to the new, and that he followed the original.

I've known since my student years, Seeing Bulut had a dream. He built a vineyard house in Urla. His eyes still shine with excitement as he describes how the house came to be. He takes care of every plant in the vineyard individually. He also makes wine from grapes and offers it to his guests. There is a saying that I like very much, Gören Hoca said, "Life is a matter of balance". Really it is. I guess a person is complete when he finds that balance.
